Stormy Weather Ruins Wooden Floors
Whether it is a leak from inside or water pouring in from an outside flood, wooden floors do not usually end well. Wood floors become warped when water sits on them for too long. As you can see in these photos, this local Encinitas home had a water leak throughout their entire home. The water sat far too long on the wooden floors so all of the flooring had to be removed and walls demo'd two feet up to remove all of the wet drywall. Sometimes flooring can be saved if the water leak is caught immediately but in this case it was no feasible. As you can see in the after photo, you would never know that the place had water damage, looks good as new! "Like it never even happened."
